It all started some 20 years ago, in Ireland, when his art teacher gave him a camera because his sketches were somewhat ...... "eccentric". The photographs were not so great either. However, as time passed, the stick men remained, but a strong photographic style developed.

During the last 15 years, Axel has worked in portraiture, fashion, travel/reportage and life-style, carrying through a distinct style that links together these often very different disciplines.
